Suhl will be taking over from Bertrand Stalla- Bourdillon at Marc Jacobs, who took the position on in 2006 after Marc Jacobs departed Louis Vuitton, to give full focus to his own company with hopes of further strengthening the brand.
Suhl will be replaced by Philippe Fortunato for Givenchy, who was previously the president and CEO of Louis Vuitton's North Asia Region.
This comes at a crucial time for Marc Jacobs as they are looking to further expand the retail power into the Marc Jacobs and Marc By Marc Jacobs lines. Here's hoping that Suhl can bring even more magic to the brand as he so successfully did with Givenchy. With Suhl masterminding the brand, they are set to open 25 new boutique stores before the year is out.
