It began with Christopher Bailey for Burberry in AW14 when he draped all the models in monogramed Burberry blanket capes and sent them down the runway. Other designers followed suit, including Chloe, Prabal Gurung, Sacai and DKNY's models all walking the runway in their versions. Since then a slew of replicas have become available on the high street and as we head into December, the trend is still going strong.
