See-through lace can be a tricky trend to pull off. Worn wrong it can either look too revealing or too layered, can look a little drab. However love it or hate it, it's a hard trend to ignore. There have been some great pieces out recently with Dior leading the charge with their gorgeous netting skirt which was seen on the likes of Chiara Ferragni. Previously seen as a material saved just for night, the trend has taken on  whole new casual vibe and with clever styling is now totally daywear appropriate. By simply pairing it with a denim jacket or t-shirt this trend has been given a whole new lease of life!

Want to experiment with lace but afraid of going all the way with the look? Try layering a lace top or vest over a t-shirt or blouse. For a festival look, layer it over an embroidered bikini.

AIRPORT STYLE INSPIRATION

Looking good at the airport and feeling comfortable during the flight might sound like an impossible task, but there are some great tricks to staying comfortable during travel without sacrificing your style!

Boyfriend jeans are a great option for travel. Pick a soft denim, and pair it with a cotton top layered under a cashmere jumper as flights are always cold! If you're headed to warmer climates, you can roll the boyfriend jeans up when you land and avoid over heating upon arrival. If you're traveling for work and headed straight out to a meeting from the airport, wear some cropped cotton trousers, a neutral colored top underneath and be sure to bring a smart blazer so you'll be work ready from the get-go.

Check out some of the inspirations below for some airport looks, wheather you're headed on vacation or off for a work trip.

If you're traveling during the colder months, be sure to wear a heavy coat on board. A cashmere coat like the one above, will help keep your warm during the flight and perfect for when you land.

If you're just off on a short flight, take a page out of Chiara Ferragni's book and wear a pair of shorts, skirt or a romper. All are perfect if you're going on vacation. You'll feel relaxed and will be dressed perfectly for the weather as soon as you land!

You can't beat a good pair of jeans and a sweater for a flight, especially if you're headed to the city. Although jeans might seem like the worst idea for a flight, if you find the right pair that are comfortable and flattering you're on to a winner.

If you're off on vacation and taking a long flight, wearing a pair of soft trousers or leggings at the airport with sneakers are ideal. Make sure the leggings are thick enough to be worn as trousers and pair them with a t-shirt and denim jacket to keep the look just the right amount of casual chic.

If you're going away for a work trip and need to go straight to a meeting from the airport, be sure to keep the look travel ready but dressed up. A pair of soft cropped non-crease trousers and a great blazer will help you stay comfortable but still look pulled together. A statement necklace is also perfect to keep your outfit looking sharp. An extra tip, store the necklace in a jewelry bag in your purse until after security to avoid having to remove it as you go through the scanner and keep some heels in your carry on to wear as you head to your meeting.

You can't go wrong with a soft pair of boyfriend jeans and cotton shirt for a flight. Both will keep you comfortable during the flight but you'll still look city ready when you land.

If you're traveling during the colder months, and leggings aren't for you, a pair of soft cotton trousers are something you can get a way with wearing in winter. Tuck them in to a pair of boots (which are ideal for  slipping on and off as you go through security) and pair them with a shirt and mid length jacket. Adding a statement necklace will help make the outfit a little more dressy.

If you're going through different weathers, hot when you leave and cold on the other side, or vice versa, be sure to layer. A cotton pair of trousers will be warm enough for the colder cities but won't be too hot for the warmer climate. Layering is key; a warm sweater, even a leather jacket under an over sized coat will help keep you warm enough when you land and nice and cosy during the flight.

A pair of cropped denim is a great way to stay comfortable and look good during travel. With a slightly baggier fit, they can be paired with sneakers or boots and will be perfect for the flight and look smart enough when you land.

Fortunately for those who travel frequently, jumpsuits have been everywhere of late and are the perfect outfit for travel. Pick one in cotton or velvet for added comfort!

Athleisure wear has been a key trend lately, and tracksuit bottoms have been restyled to be appropriate from smart, to casual and acceptable to wear with both heels and flats! For travel, pair them with mules or sneakers for comfort during the flight and you'll still look on point when you land. To keep the look a little more dressed up, add a leather jacket.
