The new Burberry campaign sees Romeo Beckham as the face once again as he dons the famous trench coat and emerges in a stream of gold glitter. This campaign is themed around Burberry celebrating the 15th anniversary of British classic, Billy Elliot. For the campaign Burberry have teamed up with the movies soundtrack writer, (and close family friend to the Beckhams) Elton John and the campaign captures Romeo as (a better dressed version of..) Billy. Shot by Mario Testino the campaign also features the iconic, Julie Walters.
Also appearing in the campaign are British stars, Naomi Campbell, Rosie Huntington Whiteley, James Bay, George Ezra, Michelle Dockery, James Cordon as well as Toby Huntington Whiteley.
The new campaign is set to premiere in London this Tuesday night at a Burberry party hosted by none other than Elton John himself and Christopher Bailey.
In a statement released regarding the campaign Christopher Bailey has said, "Billy Elliot is an incredible film full of so much joy and energy, so it was a real thrill and a great honor to be able to celebrate its 15 year anniversary through our Festive campaign. It was also a huge privilege to work with such amazing and iconic British talent—the cast are quite simply some of the biggest names in film, music and fashion and it was so much fun working with them all to make this special film."
No doubt his parents Victoria and David are over the moon, especially Victoria who has shared her desire for at least one of her kids to go into fashion!
