I just found the future of Marks and Spencer's in the past
TV presenter, model and designer Alexa Chung has teamed up with Marks and Spencer's to create a stunning 31 piece collection featuring redesigned pieces from the Marks and Spencer's archive's dating back from the 40s right up until the 90s.
Speaking about the collection, which Alexa has personality curated, she says, “I’ve always had an affection for M&S, so I’m thrilled to be a part of this unique project. There was something very touching about looking back through British history of which M&S is synonymous.”
A few of the pieces featured in the collection include an olive trench which was inspired by a 50s gabardine trench (now sold out), a redesigned navy blazer, and even a paisley dress which was reworked from an apron print. Another stand out piece is a blouse with high collar and frill details available in pink and white.
The collection is available now in select stores.
