Alexa Chung began designing for AG jeans earlier this year and has just unveiled the latest collection for AW15. The English presenter and IT girl turned designer, who now resides in New York has brought her laid back, cool casual style, loved by so many to the brand.
The collection available on StyleBop.com from July 23, is a mix of laid back sophistication very reminiscent of the designers own personal style.
Included in the collection is A-line skirts, high waisted cropped, skinny jeans and even expanded beyond denim this collection with silk blouses and Merino wool jumpers.
Like any designer, the dream is creating pieces that you would love to wear yourself and Chung is no exception. Speaking about the collection to WWD.com back in June she said, 'The collection is inherently the missing pieces of my dream denim wardrobe, which, as ever, is predominantly inspired by a late Sixties, early Seventies aesthetic."
Chung had done her research ahead of designing for the brand, even visiting the AG factory enabling her to understand fully how the company operates and the process from concept to the finished article. Speaking of her visit she said, 'I found the trip incredibly inspiring and an opportunity to learn about denim and make things I had been dreaming about finding,'
