Probably not the best person to annoy was New York based Caitlyn Carpanzano, a 27-year-old public relations professional, who says that one of the four items she ordered through H&M’s U.S. site was cancelled.
One day after placing the order - her credit card was charged for the full purchase amount - but then shortly after received an email entitled ‘One or more items you ordered have been edited’. The email then went on to explain one of her items wouldn't be sent as it was sold out.
On August 1st this year H&M launched its U.S. e-commerce site and The Isabel Marant capsule collection was the retailers first collaboration to be sold online to American consumers. Whilst I've no doubt H&M will do everything they can to fix the problems for the next collaboration, I'm sure ultimately they were just very pleased with the overwhelming response. By partnering up with these very coveted and often inaccessible designers for many, I'm sure despite the frustrations, many customers will still be ready to click and buy at the strike of 9am on its next guest designer collaboration.
Anyway, enough with the down side of the saga. let's get back to the fashion!!! Here are some pics of those who attended the Isabel Marant pour H&M bash! Did anyone get their hands on the collection?!
