Marked out your New Years resolutions but still wanting to create a new look for the New Year? Well look no further. Here are some of the hottest trend for 2019, and the best part, many of the pieces you may already have in your wardrobe!
CYCLE SHORTS
oversized Tailoring
SHOULDERS, SHOULDERS, SHOULDERS
This year big shoulders are still in, with puff sleeved details as well as oversized shoulder pads. Options are endless with big shoulder pads on suits, ruffle shoulder details on dresses, jackets and blazers or padded jackets with jeans.
DRESSED UP SWEATPANTS
Good news! Dressed up tailored sweatpants are still having their moment this year. See them worn with flats for the day or heels and a long coat for an elegant lunch or dinner.

BEIGE
Beige, always a classic but this year is totally on trend, from head to toe beige to a staple beige coat. A good classic that you'll be able to wear for years to come.
LEATHER
Much like a beige classic coat, leather jackets are a staple in all our wardrobes and definitely worth the investment! This season we see leather once again totally on the money, from leather jackets, trenches to leather trousers and a blazer.
NEON
Neon was a big trend last year, with everyone from Kim Kardashian to Blake Lively loving it. This season we see it still as hot as ever. Gemma Chan recently wore it to the Golden Globes and Prada, Balmain and Balenciaga all showed it in their 2019 collections.
BELT BAGS
Previously associated with cautious tourists on holiday, the belt bag has had a reinvention over the last year with celebrities and fashionistas alike loving the bags. Everyone from Chanel to Gucci have included them in their collections. Bonus that they add a pop of colour to your outfit, keep your hands free and belongings conveniently located at all times! A winner. Wear the traditional way, around the waist or sling across your body for some added cool.
BOWS
Bows were everywhere at the Golden Globes 2019 with designers including Dior, Maison Valentiono and Vera Wang showcasing the trend. You don’t have to have a red carpet event to go to incorporate it though! Try including a bow detailed belt over a coat to update your existing wardrobe. Alternatively invest in a blouse with bow detailing. After all they never really go out of style and can be worn from the office to the bar!
RAIN COATS
Possibly one of the most practical trends for 2019 is the raincoat, particularly if you live in London or Seattle! This season we see the trend kicked up a notch with bright rain coats, or see-through ones being totally on trend. Where a bright yellow, ala Marc Jacobs to brighten up your day as we transition from winter to spring!
FRINGE
This season you don't have to be a cowgirl to wear fringe! It's everywhere and better than ever as we see it on bags, boots, skirts, jackets and evening wear as showcased so perfectly but Givenchy. Not convinced yet? Take a look below and see if we can't just persuade you!
PUFFA JACKETS
If you were worried that all the 2019 trends were going to leave you feeling a little chilly as we wait to head into warmer climates, fear not. The puffa jacket is not only on trend but also warm and totally practical and you may even already own one! Whether it's cropped, sleeveless or oversized, they're big for 2019!
