Tadashi Shoji showcased his SS18 collection in New York at the Skylight Clarkson on September 7th. With the inspiration of Los Angeles, he showed a collection of ethereal dressed up bohemian dresses and stunning fairytale gowns to truly knock us out before the show ended.
Taking us to wind swept nights, and warm summer evenings, Tadashi Shoji used a color palette of red, yellows, pinks, pastel stripes, opal, and floral prints to ignite feelings of golden beach days. Playing with romantic short and long dresses, with embroidered tulle and tassel trim, off the shoulder print chiffon dresses and maxi chiffon dresses with cascading ruffle details, the collection gave us effortless summer elegance as the dresses floated down the runway.
Taking us into evening the collection gave us a Cinderella moment with a light blue celestial embroidered tulle long sleeve floor length ball gown that sparkled with it’s jewel detailing. Giving some true Hollywood glamour with an indigo and gold celestial embroidered tulle halter gown before closing the show with a stunning indigo and silver celestial embroidered tulle floor length gown which glided down the runway with it’s cascading cape adorned with jewels.
Tadashi Shoji gave a collection of stunning yet wearable dresses that were airy and romantic for those warm California days and evening dresses that sparkled with the inspiration of starry filled skies.
