Eurasian Vogue has been a huge fan of Zvelle shoes since they first launched, not only because of their chic, timeless, yet practical shoes, but also because of the ethos and quite frankly superb team behind Zvelle.

I have been lucky enough to interview the founder of the company, Elle AyoubZadeh, and was instantly impressed with her background as well as the Zvelle mission statement which not only focuses on promoting strong women in business as they created a ‘High Profile’ section on their website featuring interviews with inspiring women, business leaders, philanthropists, medical experts and even trailblazers. But they are also intent on giving back.

They have previously partnered up with Amelia Rose Earhart, giving a portion of profits from the sales of their shoes to the, “Fly with Amelia Foundation” which is non profit organization that offers flight-training scholarships to young women.

Now Zvelle is doing it again. This time partnering up with Women’s College Hospital Foundation (WCHF). This collaboration is certainly a personal one, “When I was first developing Zvelle, I used the code name ‘blue lantern’ inspired by a gift my boyfriend gave me in support of Autism Awareness.” Elle says.

Autism Awareness is a cause especially close to Elle's heart as she explains, “My younger brother, Amir, has an intellectual disability with autistic tendencies so this is a cause that has always been close to my heart. Amir is my biggest source of strength and the blue lantern always reminded me that whatever I was building, I wanted to support causes that I strongly believe in.” Elle continues,  “It is with this in mind that I’m thrilled to announce that $10 from every Zvelle shoe sold will support the most urgent needs of Women’s College Hospital Foundation(WCHF). Women’s College Hospital is a hub of collaboration in research, clinical care and education. It was also the first hospital in Canada that allowed women to be trained in medicine and to become physicians.”

It’s a perfect partnership, as Elle says, “Supporting WCH and its foundation is a natural step for Zvelle. We share many values in common including the celebration of professional women. Having founded a company myself, I understand the challenges that come from working outside the box and the determination it takes to give birth to a vision. I am so fortunate that I haven’t had to fight for the right to follow my passion. It is with great pride that I support an organization that was started with such strong and ambitious women.”

The Zvelle partnership with WCHF has two clear goals in mind. One to help fund the urgent need of women and the families served by Women’s College and secondly, Elle hopes that they will forge a long-term relationship with the hospital. “We’ve got exciting plans to share over the course of 2016!” Elle says.

So how can you support this great partnership? Simply head on over to Zvelle.com and use the code Zvelle4WCH when making your purchase. For every code used, Zvelle will donate $10 to WCHF and in addition you will get $25 off! Win, win situation!

Elle concludes, “We are so excited to be helping the passionate teams of women and men at WCH and WCHF! They are among the most innovative healthcare institutions whose primary focus is on the health of women in Canada and throughout the world.”

Sending a special thank you out to her customers Elle says, “We want to thank our inspiring and hard working customers whose loyalty allows us to support this very worthy cause. We also encourage you to share this exciting initiative with the women (and men) in your lives.”

Eurasian Vogue also encourages to you share this great cause by sharing this link with your friends and family, visiting Elle's letter to her customers and of course to visit Zvelle.com to help raise money for this wonderful cause!
